It's been a while...

Okay, so I haven't posted in a long time, mainly because I tried to a couple times and my computer was being a dick, which I later discovered was due to new wireless card, which then was forced to become new wireless paperweight, and so I became frustrated and gave up on all things internet. But here we go.

What the fuck did you people do to the radio while I was in North Carolina? No, seriously. I come back and the formerly listenable Zone has become "the hardest rock station in America," with "hardest" in this context apparently meaning "suckiest;" Q101 has gone "on shuffle," a theme that apparently involves mixing perfctly good songs with strange eighties and nineties relics that no one not listening to "delilah" wants to hear; the Mix has only gotten crappier (if that was possible), adopting the new slogan "the best of today's new music...and whatever we want" which they seem to play as some sort of an ominous warning before they break out the worst eighties song ever recorded and then laugh maniacally-"hee hee, you have no control!"; and now Oldies 104.3 has become "Jack FM," or as I like to call it "Jack-me-off FM" for its ecclectic mix of bad songs from a deligtful blend of bad genres, and where exactly am I supposed to get my Beatles fix from?; and finally, don't get me started on Nine FM, whose promising start of random format has devolved into a cesspool of "playing anything," including things no one wants to hear--listen guys, those songs don't get radio play FOR A REASON, leave well enough alone. Damnit, GIVE ME BACK MY RADIO STATIONS!
